Why We Give
It is our aspiration to see the church thriving and strong, impacting our community and our nation for Jesus. Our desire is that every individual would develop an intimate relationship with Christ and find a church home where they can grow and flourish.
Giving is an Act of Worship
At Journey of Faith Wichita Falls, we aim to worship God in our giving. We contribute cheerfully and regularly (see 2 Corinthians 9:6–7) to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel as we strive to honor the Lord with the “firstfruits” (Proverbs 3:9) of all our labor.
Tithes and Offerings
The Bible speaks of both Tithe and Offerings. Tithing is more than giving. Tithing is a reminder that God is Jehovah-Jireh, supplier of everything. Tithing teaches us to put God first in our lives. Tithing is giving back to God what is already His.
An offering is an opportunity to step out in faith. Step Out today by going beyond 10%. You can give an offering to the general fund, the building fund, or the benevolence fund.

Lastly, in an effort to be financially transparent, 1% of what you give plus an additional $0.30 goes to tithe.ly, the company responsible for the administration of our online giving.
